Missouri Chapter IAAI Vote Filing for 501c-3 Status

The Missouri Chapter IAAI will be proposing a vote at the 2018 annual meeting to amend the chapter by-laws to file the chapter as a 501c-3 non profit organization. We will be posting the additions soon.

Proposed Bylaw chanqe Section 4: Terms of Office — a. Each duly elected officer shall serve a term of two years. b. The elected member of the Board of Directors shall serve on a staggered term basis so that at least two Board Members will be elected each year to serve a three-year term.

The Officers and Directors of the Missouri Chapter IAAI are monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and its effect on meeting and social gatherings. Currently, there is a statewide and local (Springfield) ban on gatherings of 10+ persons.

There is an excellent line up of presenters for 2020 that will keep you up to date on NFPA 1033 requirements....
The Missouri Chapter, IAAI has achieved its 501c3 designation through the IRS after months of hard work by Treasurer Bob Catlett. We would like to thank him for his hard work over the last year in achieving this designation!
The Missouri Chapter is interested in hosting the IAAI (Expert Witness Court Room Testimony) Class for some mid-year training. Any member interested in participating in this class please contact Chapter Secretary Kevin Savage @ ksavage3080@gmail.com.
